Pile Foundation

SAP provides various type of piles foundation solutions depending upon structural loads and the diversified soil strata from loose soil (Sabkha) to Rock formation.

Comprehensive Pile Foundation Solutions for Diverse Ground Conditions

Continuous Flight Augur (CFA) Piles

Continuous flight auger (CFA) piles are drilled and concreted in one continuous operation enabling much faster installation time than for bored piles. Reinforcement is placed into the wet concrete after casting, enabling the pile to resist the full range of structural loading.

Driven Cast in-situ Piles

Drilled and concreted in one continuous operation enabling much faster installation time than for bored piles. Reinforcement is placed into the wet concrete after casting, enabling the pile to resist the full range of structural loading.

Micro Piles

Micro piles, also known as mini piles, pin piles, needle piles, and root piles, are a deep foundation element constructed using high-strength grout, small-diameter steel casing and/or threaded bars.

Piles Testing

SAP provides complete range of pile testing services which includes but not limited to:

Pile Dynamic Test
Pile Lateral Load Test
Pile Tension Load Test
Pile Integrity Test
Cross Hole Sonic Logging Test
Caliper Logging Test
Pile Compression Load test (Kentledge, Rection Piles & O-Cell Method)

Large Diameter Bored Piles

Bored piles are cast-in-place concrete piles. These Piles are drilled with kelly bar and drilling tool (auger, bucket, core barrel) in any type of soil or rock. The operating sequence includes the following steps:
Step One
Boring – generally using steel casing or stabilizing mud such as bentonite suspension or Polymer Slurry
Step Two
After drilling and cleaning, reinforcement cage will be put into the bore hole
Step Three
Concrete will be poured into the bore hole though tremie pip
